Introductions and what not...

Last night I was sitting wrapped in a blanket feeling sorry for myself because it was cold and I was struggling to find ways to be helpful to God. I have recently been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia so I have been struggling with preserving energy and I just felt like I could be of no help to anyone.
Then my mam said something that made me think. She was saying "You do a lot more than you think... You knit, crochet and make things for charity, you pray for others, you pray with people and make sure people are ok, you try to help out however you can... they are all small pieces of service to God."
After this chat and a conversation with my friend Sheryl (who also has her own blog, you should go and check it out! https://sherylsjourneywithjesus.wordpress.com ) I decided that I can still pave my own way in this world and use my talents for Jesus... and BAM! This blog was born.
I have quite a few blog posts and topics I would like to tackle regarding Christian life as a Goth and how I can inspire people to deepen their relationship with Jesus. I guess this blog is more for me than for others but if it happens to help just one person in their journey then I have accomplished my task.
I am a complete beginner at this whole blog thing so it might take a while to get used to but I just want people to know that you do not need to be a "cookie cutter" Christian to follow Jesus. To quote from the band Nirvana from their song: "Come as you are". I will be doing a blog post on why you don't have to be a cookie cutter christian in order to be a christian later on.
If there are any topics in particular that you would like to see on here then please feel free to contact me and I will try my best to answer your questions and include your recommendation.
Until next time, I hope you all have a blessed day!
Vicky
